03. Recommended Uses & Techniques

The following techniques are recommended for professional application of Praxis Aesthetics products. Each method is designed to optimize the penetration and efficacy of the active ingredients.

✦ Electrophoresis

The product is applied between the skin and the active electrode (alternating positive and negative poles), either directly, or in a conductive gel that has incorporated the product (hydroelectrophoresis), or mixed in a container for freezing (cryoelectrophoresis).

✦ Transdermal Electroporation System (TDES)

Mix in a large syringe (20 cc) the required amount of each of the Praxis Aesthetic Line products needed for the treatment. Allow the mixture to slide drop by drop over the area to be treated while applying the TDES terminal slowly with rotary or circular movements.

✦ Ultrasound Therapy

Mix the necessary amount of each selected product with conductivity gel and apply for the time recommended by the specifications of the device used.

✦ Thermo Induction

Mix in a large syringe (20 cc) the required amount of each of the Praxis Aesthetic Line products needed. Allow the mixture to slide drop by drop over the area to be treated — either directly or in a conductive gel that has incorporated the product — while applying the thermoinductor terminal slowly with circular movements.

✦ Depressotherapy / Vacuum Therapy

Spread a thin layer of the vials indicated according to the problem to be treated over the area where the technique will be applied, using a circular massage motion.

✦ Iontophoresis

Soak the sponge corresponding to the negative pole of the device with the necessary vials according to the treatment. The solution may be dissolved in distilled water. Follow intensity directions according to electrode surface area.

✦ Dermapen

Apply the product or combination of selected actives to the treatment area. The area should never be dry. With the free hand, gently stretch the piece of skin to be treated. At the end of the treatment, perform a massage so that the active ingredients continue working until complete absorption.

✦ Dermarroller

Apply the product in small quantities over reduced surfaces. Help it penetrate by gently rolling the dermaroller over the area. Finish the treatment with a gentle manual massage using the remaining product.
